Ingredients

  • Yarn four colors (white, yellow, sky blue, and green)
  • Flower Rod 40 cm long x 2 mm diameter
  • Iron wire 0.5/0.7 mm diameter
  • Fiberfill
  • Hot melt adhesive

Instructions

Flower Core:

  • R1: Start with a magic ring, work 6 sc st into the ring. 1 ss,1 ch.
  • R2: (2 sc in next st)*6 times. Resulting in a total of 12 stitches. 1 ss,1 ch.
  • R3: BLO(1 sc in the first stitch, then 2 sc in next st)*6 times. Resulting in a total of 18 stitches. 1 ss, 1 ch.
  • R4: BLO(1 sc, then make 2 sc st in the next stitch, followed by 1 sc in the next stitch)*6 times. Resulting in a total of 24 stitches. 1 ss, 1 ch, cut and leave a tail.

Flower Stamen:

  • R1: FLO:(1 ss, 2 ch)*12 times. Resulting in a total of 24 stitches. 1 ss.
  • R2: FLO:(make 1 ss, then make 2 ch)*18 times. Resulting in a total of 36 stitches. 1 ss.
  • R3: FLO:(make 1 ss, then make 2 ch)*24 times. Resulting in a total of 48 stitches. 1 ss, 1 ch, cut and leave a tail.

Flower Petals:

  • R1: Start with a magic ring and work 6 sc st into the ring. 1 ss,1 ch.
  • R2: (2 sc in next st)*6 times. Resulting in a total of 12 stitches.1 ss,1 ch.
  • R3: (1 sc, 2 sc in the next stitch) * 6 times. Resulting in a total of 18 stitches. 1 ss, 1 ch.
  • R4: (1 sc, 2 sc in the next stitch, 1 sc in the next stitch)*6 times. Resulting in a total of 24 stitches.
  • R5: Work 24 sc.

The First Layer of Petals (make 12):

  • Step 1: FLO: make 13 ch, then insert the hook into the 3rd ch st from the hook, then make 11 sc, 2 ss, 13 ch. Repeat this step until the end of the row.
  • Step 2: Attach wire to the petals. Make 2 sc, 2 hdc, 6 dc, 1 hdc, (1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc), 1 hdc, dc 6, hdc 2, sc 2. Hide the tail with a darning needle and twist the wire tightly and hide.

The Second Layer of Petals (make12):

  • Step 1: BLO: make 15 ch, then insert the hook into the 3rd ch from the hook, then make 13 sc, 2 ss, 15 ch st. Repeat this step until the end of the row.
  • Step 2: Attach wire to the petals. Make 2 sc, 2 hdc, 8 dc, 1 hdc, (1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc), 1 hdc, dc 8, hdc 2, sc 2. Hide the tail with a darning needle, and twist the wire tightly and hide.

Flower Holder: (green)

  • R1: Start with a magic ring and work 6 sc st into the ring. 1 ss, 1 ch.
  • R2-R3: Work 6 sc st around. 1 ss, 1 ch.
  • R4: (2 sc in next st)*6 times, 1 ss, 1 ch , resulting in a total of 12 stitches.
  • R5: (1 sc in the first stitch, 2 sc in the next st)*6 times, 1 ss, 1 ch ,resulting in a total of 18 stitches.
  • R6: (1 sc in the first stitch, 2 sc in the next st, 1 sc in the next st)*6 times, 1 ss, 1 ch, resulting in a total of 24 stitches.
  • R7: (3 sc, 2 sc in the next st)*6 times, 1 ss, 1 ch , resulting in a total of 30 stitches.
  • R8: Work 30 sc st around, 1 ss.
  • R9: sk 1 stitch, then in the same st (1 dc, 2ch picot stitch, 1 dc), make 1 ss, then repeat 10 times. Cut and leave a tail.

Leaf: (green)

  • R1: Let’s start with the foundation chain: 31 ch.
  • R2: From the 2nd st of the hook: 29 sc, 2 sc in the last st. On the other side of the foundation chain, make 29 sc, 1 ss, 1 ch.
  • R3: Attach wire to the leaf. Make 6 sc st, 4 hdc, 3 dc, 4 tr, 3 dc, 4 hdc, 6 sc,1 ch. On the other side of the leaf, make 6 sc,4 hdc, 3 dc, 4 tr, 3 dc, 4 hdc, 6 sc, and make 1 ss, 1 ch.
  • R4: Make 4 sc, 1 hdc, then in the same stitch make 1 hdc, 1 dc, and 3ch picot.
  • in the same st (make 1 dc, 1 hdc), then 1 sc and 1 hdc.
  • in the same st (make 1 dc, 1 tr, and a 3ch picot).
  • in the same st (make 1 tr, 1dc), hdc, sc, hdc.

Assemble:

  • Step 1: Attached the flower core to the flower petals using the hot melt adhesive
  • Step 2: Bend one end of the stem and insert it into the middle of the flower holder.
  • Step 3: Use the yarn of the flower holder to sew it at the back of petals, add fiberfill before the sewing end, and then sew the rest.
  • Step 4: Wrap the stem with yarn; then, while wrapping, attach the leaf and sew it together until you reach the end.
  • Step 5: Cut it and use hot melt adhesive to secure the end of the stem.
