Step by Step Crochet Frog Patterns

Body of Crochet Frog (green):

• R1: Start with a magic ring and make 6 sc stitches into it. 1 ss, 1 ch.
• R2: Work (2 sc in next st), and repeat 6 times. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R3: Work (1 sc in the first st), then (work 2 sc in next st), and repeat 6 times. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R4: Work (2 sc in the first st), then (work 2 sc in next st), and repeat 6 times. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R5-8: Work 24 sc stitches in each round. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R9: Work (12 sc st, then ch 1, skip the next stitch, and work 11 sc stitches). 1 ss, 1 ch
• R10: Work (1 sc, sc2tog, 1 sc) repeat 6 times. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R11: Work (1 sc in the first st), then sc2tog in the next st, and repeat 6 times. 1 ss, 1 ch. Put fiberfill and bubble ball before closing the body

• Make 2 Eyes of Crochet Frog (green):
• R1: Start with a magic ring and make 6 sc stitches into it. cut and weave the ends.

Make 4 Feet of Crochet Frog (green):

• R1: Create a ch of 2 st, then insert your hook behind the second stitch’s vertical bar in the chain below. In the same stitch, work 1 hdc and 1 ss.

Make 2 Whites of Eyes of Crochet Frog :

• (white cotton yarn, 2.0 mm hook)
• R1: Start with a magic ring and make 6 sc stitches into it. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R2: Work (2 sc in next st), and repeat 6 times. cut and weave the ends.

Assemble Crochet Frog

• Put fiberfill and bubble ball before closing the body
• Attach the eyes to the body by sewing them onto the upper portion of the body, aligning the stitches. Leave some space between the eyes for the whites of the eyes.
• Sew the feet onto the body, placing them in the desired positions.
• Attach the belly to the body by sewing it onto the lower portion of the body, aligning the stitches.
• Sew the whites of the eyes onto the body, positioning them within the eye area and aligning the stitches. Stick the safety eyes in the center of the white of the eyes
• Use hot melt adhesive when you attach every part of the frog to secure them.
