Equipment

Ingredients

  • Yarn yarn of three colors, yellow, light green, and dark green
  • Flower Rod 16 inches long x 0.08 inches diameter (40cm x 2mm)
  • Iron wire 6 inches long x 0.02 inches diameter (15cm x 0.4mm)
  • Fiberfill
  • Hot Melt Adhesive

Instructions

Lemon

  • Round 1: Start with a magic ring and make 6 sc st into the ring. Ss to join.
    Round 2: Ch 1, then make 6 sc st around. Ss to join.
    Round 3: Ch 1, then (2 sc in each stitch) * 6 times. Ss to join.
    Round 4: Ch 1, then make 1 sc stitch, followed by 2 sc stitches in the next stitch—repeat this sequence 6 times in total. Ss to join.
    Round 5: Ch 1, then make 1 sc stitch, followed by 2 sc stitches in the next stitch, and another 1 sc stitch—repeat this sequence 6 times in total. Slip stitch to join.
    Round 6: Ch 1, then make 3 sc stitches, followed by 2 sc stitches in the next stitch—repeat this sequence 6 times in total. Ss to join.
    Rounds 7-13: Ch 1, then make 30 sc stitches. Ss to join at the end of each round.
    Round 14: Ch 1, then make 3 sc stitches, followed by a sc2tog (single crochet decrease)—repeat this sequence 6 times in total. Slip stitch to join.
    Round 15: Ch 1, then make 1 sc stitch, followed by a sc2tog, and another 1 sc stitch—repeat this sequence 6 times in total. Slip stitch to join.
    Round 16: Ch 1, then make 1 sc stitch, followed by a sc2tog—repeat this sequence 6 times in total. Slip stitch to join.
    Round 17: Ch 1, then make 1 sc stitch, followed by a sc2tog—repeat this sequence 4 times in total. Slip stitch to join. stuff the lemon lightly with fiberfill.
    Round 18: Ch 1, then make 8 sc, and slip stitch to join. Cut a small length of wire, fold it twice, and tie a knot in the middle with a yarn. Put it at the center of the lemon.
    Round 19: Ch 1, then make a sc2tog—repeat this sequence 4 times in total. cut and hide the yarn with darning needle.

Leaf

  • Foundation Chain: Start with a chain of 24 st.
    Round 1: Starting from the 2nd st from the hook, make 2 sc, followed by 3 hdc, 13 dc, 3 hdc, 1 sc, 3 sc in same stitch (forming the leaf tip), 1 sc, 3 hdc, 13 dc, 3 hdc, and finally 2 sc. 1 ss, 1 ch
    Round 2:  add wire, work sc stitches all around. Make 1 ch picot stitch at the tip of the leaf. 1 ss, 1 ch. cut and leave a tail.

Assemble 

  • Step 1: After the leaf is finished, wrap the tail around the wire, use hot melt adhesive to secure it
    Step 2: Take the lemon, wrap the yarn around the wire, use hot melt adhesive to secure it
    Step 3: Add a leaf on top of the stem, Then add the leaves, and lemons one by one,
    Step 4: Continue to wrap the yarn around the stem, finally use hot melt adhesive to secure it.
