Instructions

Flowers (Make 4)

  • Start with a magic ring
  • R1:ch1,6sc in the ring, close the opening, ss
    R2:ch1, (2sc in next st) * 6 times, ss
    R3:ch1, (sc. 2sc in next st) *6 times, ss
    R4 - R7:ch1, 18 sc in each round, ss
    R8:ch1, (sc, sc2tog) *6times, ss
    R9:ch1, {In the same st (sc, hdc, dc), in the next st (dc, hdc, sc )} * 6 times, 1 ss. 1 ch. cut and weave in ends

Leaf

  • Start with foundation chain: Ch16
  • R1:, sc from 2nd of hook, hdc , dc3, hdc, sc, ss, sc, hdc, dc3, hdc, in the last st (sc, ch,sc), hdc, dc3, hdc, sc, ss, sc, hdc, dc3, hdc, sc
    Cut yarn, thread your needle, insert through the 1st st, back into the last st, and weave in ends.

Hanging Rope

  • Make a long chain with any number ch st accordingto your needs;
  • Then make another chain of ch 15, and ss through the 20th st of the first long chain, and continue making ch 15. You will have four hanging ropes to attach flowers.

Assembling Rope to Leaf

  • Working on the other side of the rope, thread your needle;
  • Then insert the rope through the center of the leaf, pull the yarn to create a loop with the rope, then insert it back through the next st.

Assembling Flowers

  • Working one flower at a time, pick up one rope and pull it through the center of the flower. Repeat for all flowers.

Adding Stamen and Final Assembly

  • Step 1: Using yellow yarn, wrap four times around three fingers, remove from the finger, and then wrap twice around the center of your yarn, cut the yarn, and tie a knot around the center. You have made your stamen.
  • Step 2: Pick the green yarn from the rope pulled at the flower's center, and wrap it a few times around the stamen. Then fold the stamen into two, making the top sides meet, then wrap the green yarn underneath to join the two. Leave the top loops hanging loose and finish by tightly making knots to your yarn.
  • Step 3: Cut the top of the loops and make good to make it fluffy.
  • Step 4: Apply glue at the base of the stamen and pull into the flower until it sits perfectly inside.
  • Repeat steps 1 - 4 for the other flowers.
