Step-by-Step Flower Basket Car Hanging Patterns

Make 3 Leaves for flowers: (green )

• Start with the foundation chain: 10 ch
• R1: Add wire, then from the 2nd st of the hook, make 1 sc, 1 hdc, 4 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 3 sc in the same st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 4 dc, 1 hdc, and 1 sc. 1 ss. cut and wrap the tail around the wire.

Make 2 Small Roses: ( 1 pink + 1 sky blue)

• Start with the foundation chain: 26 ch
• R1: (From the 4th st of the hook, make 3 dc in the same st, 1 ch, sk 1); after the first set, and then repeat 10 times.
• R2: Turn, make (2 ch, 1 dc, 2 dc in the next st, 1 dc, 2 ch, and 1 ss in the gap) after the first set, and then repeat 11 times. cut and weave the ends.

Assemble small rose:

• Step 1: Use a wire to pass through the middle of the petals, fold them in half, wrap the petals into a flower and fix with hot melt glue.
• Step 2: Then wrap the wire with green yarn and add the leaves, wrap until the ends are secured with hot melt glue.

Make 2 forgot-me-not flowers ( 1 light purple+ 1 dark purple)

• R1: Start with a magic ring, and make 5 sc in the round.
• R2: {Make (4 ch, 2 tr, 4 ch ), then 1 ss in the next st} after the first set, then repeat 4 times. 1 ch, cut off and weave the ends.

Stamen of forgot-me-not flower :

• Step 1: Wrap the yellow yarn around the middle of the iron wire, about 2cm long.
• Step 2: Fold the wire in half and tighten it, pass through the flower core, and wrap it with green yarn to fix it.

Tulip : ( pink )

• R1: Start with a magic ring, and make 6 sc in the round. 1ss, 1 ch
• R2: Make (2 sc in each st ) after the first set, then repeat 5 times. 1ss, 1 ch
• R3: Make (1 sc, 2 sc in each st ) after the first set, then repeat 5 times. 1ss, 1 ch
• R4: Make (5 sc, 2 sc in each st ) after the first set, then repeat 2 times. 1ss, 1 ch
• R5-9: Work 21 sc in each round, cut, and leave a long tail.
• Fold the wire in half, tie a knot with yarn in the middle, and pass through the middle of the tulip. Add fiberfill, and sew the tulip. wrap around the wire with green yarn to fix it (Please refer to the video tutorial for details )

Make Sunflower: ( yellow and brown)

Make 2 pieces stamens of sunflower:

• R1: Use brown yarn, then start with a magic ring, and make 6 sc in the round. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R2: Make (2 sc in each st ) after the first set, then repeat 5 times. 1 ss, 1 ch
• Take out the wire, bend one end, insert it in the middle of a stamen, and then cover it with another stamen.

Petals of sunflower:

• R3: Use yellow yarn, then {( in the same st: work 2 ch. 1 dc, 1 tr, 2 ch picot st). Followed by ( in the same st: 1 tr, 1 dc, 2 ch ). and 1 ss in the next st} after the first set, then repeat { } 5 times. 1 ch, cut and weave the ends.
• wrap around the wire with green yarn, and add a leaf, continue wrapping to finish.

Make 2 lilies of the valley:( white and yellow)

• R1: Use white yarn, start with a magic ring, 6 sc in the round. 1 ss, 1 ch.
• R2: Make (2 sc in each st) after the first set, then repeat 5 times. 1 ss, 1 ch.
• R3: Make (1 sc, 2 sc in each st) after the first set, then repeat 5 times. 1 ss, 1 ch.
• R4-5: Work 18 sc in each round. 1 ss, 1 ch.
• R6: Make (1 sc, sc2tog ) after the first set, then repeat 5 times. 1 ss, 1 ch.
• R7: Work 12 sc. 1 ss, 1 ch.
• R8: Make (in the same st: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc; In the next st: 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc ) after the first set, then repeat 5 times. cut and weave the ends.

Stamens for lily of the valley:

• R6: Make 3 ch, followed by work back loops only( BLO): 40 dc, 1 ss
• R7-9: (Make 3 ch, 1 fpdc, and 1 bpdc. ) after the first set, and then repeat 19 times. 1 ss in the first stitch. 1 ch
• R10: Make (3 sc, sc2tog) after the first set, and then repeat 7 times. 1 ss, 1 ch
• R11: Reverse the hook, and make 32 sc. cut off and leave a tail.

Flower Basket Handle: ( brown )

• Use 2 brown yarns, start with the foundation chain: 33 ch
• R1: Add wire, then work behind the 2nd stitches vertical bar in the chain below: and make 32 sc. Cut off and leave a tail.
• Attach the handle to the basket with a darning needle.
