  • Crochet hook – 2.0 mm
  • Scissors

Stitches and Abbreviation

  • sc: Single Crochet
  • hdc: Half Double Crochet
  • dc: Double Crochet
  • tr: Treble (or Triple) Crochet
  • dtr: Double Treble Crochet
  • ch: Chain
  • ss: Slip Stitch

Special Stitches

  • Single Crochet 2 Together (sc2tog): This is a decreased stitch. You start a single crochet in one stitch, but instead of completing it, you start a second in the next stitch, and then complete both at the same time. This takes two stitches and turns them into one, decreasing the total number of stitches by one.
  • 2 sc in each st: This means you’ll do 2 single crochets in each stitch, effectively doubling the number of stitches in that round. This is also referred to as an increase.

Notes

  • Our pattern is written in US crochet terms.
  • Follow the pattern carefully to avoid mistakes.
  • Take note of the specific stitch counts and techniques.
  • Use stitch markers to mark the beginning of each round.
  • Additional notes are written in Italics.

What a great pattern! From a distance no one could tell that my rose is not a real flower.
The video was very helpful with the parts that weren’t clear to me.
I can’t wait to try another flower.
    Thank you so much!

One thing that would GREATLY benefit everyone is if you have a titch count at the end of each row. I’ve been crocheting on and off for 12 years and I’ve picked it back up again and I’ve been following the pattern which is good, your designs are absolutely stunning but I find myself using the calculator and loosing stitching having to add stitches etc. It is frustrating because I SOOOO badly want to make HUNDREDS of these beautiful flowers lol. If you could edit the site to add in smthe stitch count it would be perfect!!
