Special Stitches
In this pattern, we use the following special stitches:
- Front & Back Loops Only: This stitch is used to create ridges and textures in your crochet. We use it to create a ridged surface on the flower pot. To work this stitch, you simply crochet only in the front and back loops of each stitch.
- Unfinished Stitches: This stitch helps to maintain the shape and flexibility of your project. To work this stitch, you start a stitch but do not finish it. You will finish this stitch later with the pull-through technique. The pull-through technique is used once you have the unfinished stitch on your hook. You then yarn over and pull through all the loops on the hook.
